More on this product

Timmy Tatts has been professionally tattooing for about 19 years. Originally from State College, PA. He primarily tattoos at Marks in State College Pennsylvania. Known for traveling a fair amount, he splits his time between various conventions and tattooing with Bowery Stan Moskowitz who is a great friend of his.

Having always been a sucker for the ""odd ball"", Timmy's machines were born from his love of classic tattoo machines of no frills, bells or whistles and even to the extent of looking peculiar. From this love of misfit machines Timmy was inspired to make the two styles of machines that he has now. What makes them so unique is basing the style and structure of off old school machines and then implementing his own personal changes and touches.
Believing that this effort, experience and research will bring more than just a good tool to the trade, he truly hopes the customer can benefit without having to go through the long, arduous process of having to figure it out for themselves. β€œA good machine does the job you want it to do, with ease. It's only good in the hands of a good tattooer.”

Modeled after a Jonesy bakelite machine that Timmy had purchased many years back. He was always into these particular machines and decided to make some improvements and put his own version out. Without giving away his secrets, simply allot goes into it: understanding that metal to use, what size magnetic wire to use, knowing the metal to use in the coils, what kind of springs to use. β€œIt takes just as long to learn how to make a machine as it takes to learn how to tattoo well.”

The bakelite Shader is good for flat or mag needle groupings. Made out of Bakelite and Steel, all machines are capable to lay a solid line and solid fill or pepper shade or soft shade.
